Welcome days at the Faculty of Education for first-year students in the 2021-22 academic year

Presentation

The Faculty of Education organises welcome days for new first-year students on its degree courses. The events aim to make students feel welcome, provide information about campus life, the faculty and its courses, help students get to know their surroundings and motivate them at the start of the academic year.

The events will be held face-to-face at the Palma, Ibiza and Minorca campuses on 13^th, 14^th, 15^th and 16^th September 2021.

Activities

A group of current faculty students will welcome new arrivals and run the following activities:

Information session. The management team and student representatives will be introduced. The heads of studies for each degree programme will talk about their respective courses and information will be provided on different useful services and offices for students.

Icebreaker sessions with classmates. Students from other years will host activities for new first years to get to know their fellow classmates.

Get-to-know the campus sessions. A guided tour around the faculty and university campuses with current students.
